Hotels determined to stop illegal drug sales and prostitutes – really?

Hotels, motels, bed &breakfast, holiday villages any many other type of accommodation usually are target of lots of unethical people when they need temporary accommodation. Unfortunately sometimes people who do not have ethical behaviour tend to use above listed accommodation types as a place where they do unethical things like – selling drugs, prostitution etc. Would be nice if hotel management, manage to keep out all these illegal guests of hotel rooms. Yes, I used the term- illegal as technically they are partially in breach of terms and conditions of the hotel, which they have accepted as check-in to hotel premises.
In order to tackle this issue a police in Montana, Indiana is seeking for co-operation form hotel staff to fight against criminals. According a report, a two-month program to train hotel workers to keep an eye out for illegal drug sales or prostitution has resulted in arrests, law enforcement officials with the Central Montana Drug Task Force say. This is an example other states may follow to tackle the crime and violence.  For example Las Vegas
Police officers in Montana say that some of the hints hotels staff can look to spot illegal activity are as follow:
-guests who pay in cash
- Guests who give false vehicle information
- Guest who don’t let housekeeping into their rooms
Police always need support in the endless fight with criminals. Of course we all need to support him but the coin has other side as well.
Many hotels generate revenue from the guests who use prostitute service or drug dealers who uses the rooms for 1 hour and pay for one week. It is not always so obvious also what do guests in the room. Sometimes husband hires a room to spend weekend with his girlfriend. Or vice versa a wife is hiring a hotel room to spend a day with her lover. Hotel staff cannot always be a judge and policeman. Many high class hotels have quite strict privacy policy and disclosure of guest information is forbidden.
We can summarise that police always need support, once again well done to Central Montana Drug Task Force. Hotels in Central Montana are drugs and prostitue free.
